Project Background & Mission

AI JSON Tools (aijsons.com) was founded in early 2025 with a simple mission: provide developers with fast, reliable JSON utilities that respect user privacy. Unlike many developer tool sites that route data through backend servers — introducing latency, privacy risks, and server costs — AI JSON was designed from the ground up as a fully client-side platform.

The project started with 5 core tools (formatter, validator, diff, minify, and tree viewer) and has grown to 39 tools as of June 2026. Every tool runs entirely in the browser using vanilla JavaScript with zero framework dependencies. No user data is ever uploaded or stored server-side — a principle that remains non-negotiable.

The codebase is fully open source under the MIT license on GitHub, hosted via GitHub Pages with Cloudflare CDN. The site serves developers worldwide, from individual freelancers debugging API responses to enterprise teams validating large-scale JSON datasets.
